Description for Nissan Other 1992
I am selling probably the best off-road machine that has only Land cruiser 100 series as its equal. In fact, Nissan Produced the Safari/Patrols in 1992 to directly compete with Land Cruisers 70/80 series. I have no words to adequately describe the off-road attributes this vehicle possesses. The GQ Nissan Safari along with Range Rovers were the first to be offered with coil springs which greatly improved offroad comfort.
One of the most extremely reliable vehicles you will ever drive. The GQ 4.2 liter diesel engine was surely built to outlive fossil fuel as Aussies put it. It has 2wd, 4wd high and 4 low range. You could shift from 2wd to 4wd without stopping as long as you are below 60 mph. It has AC/heater in the front and middle seats. It has a nice touch heater that blows warm air to the middle passenger's feet. I have taken it a few times off-roading. The low-end torque and solid front and rear axles on this legendary beast is simply mouthwatering. It's very well balanced not choppy like jeeps, firm steering wheel, big tires, better fuel mileage, and straight inline 6 cylinder. You can see from the pictures how well this vehicle was kept. Very clean looking for a 25 yr old. It has a clean body, new tires, Warn tow winch, remote controlled fog lamps, rear mounted spare tire and headlamp wipers. I have replaced radiator and hoses, radiator fan, rebuilt transmission (under warrant for 2yrs) and should easily last 300,000 miles. Bought 6 fuel injectors awaiting install, installed heavy duty oil cooler. It has currently 258,000 km or 178,000 miles. I was planning to keep this vehicle but circumstances have forced me to sale it. I imported it from Japan last year and I plan to buy anothersometime in the fure. Let me know if you have questions. Please only serious buyers!!!
