It was essentially a Japanese-market Datsun Bluebird 910 with a longer nose to accommodate the inline-six engine. In the fall of 1984. the first front-wheel drive Maxima was introduced. This Maxima was available with a 157 hp (117 kW) 3. 0 L VG30E V6 engine and a four-speed automatic or a five-speed manual transmission. These engines were shared with the 300ZX and was the first V6 engine to be mass-produced in Japan. On offer is this superb one-Southern California owner from new 1985 Nissan Maxima. It was purchased new in Los Angeles by a service engineer for Rolls-Royce/Bentley of Beverly Hills and amateur pilot. Recently retired with 40+ years experience with Rolls/Bentley. the Nissan was meticulously maintained and serviced by him to very exacting standards… and it shows! The mechanical condition of the car is utterly superb.
