Description for Nissan Laurel 1980
This is a 1991 Nissan Laurel, must list as 1981 since ebay does not recognize vin# Very, very unique piece that also shows just under 22k kilometers (~13k miles) and was recently imported from Japan. The sixth generation Laurel shared a chassis with and was mechanically similar to the S13 Silvia/240SX, powered by a 2.0 liter DOHC inline-six mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission. The RB20DE 2.0 liter DOHC inline-six remains stock and features the ECCS injection system. The DUET-EA integrated control system aids in smoother acceleration with the 5-speed automatic transmission. An oil change was performed in Japan prior to its export, and the car also underwent the notoriously strict yearly Shaken inspection. Produced from 1969-2002, the Nissan Laurel was mostly sold in Japan and was a popular choice for modification and drifting due to its rear wheel drive layout. This unit remains completely stock and we believes it had only one owner in Japan prior to importation. Factory wheels are still fitted and tires have about 75% tread remaining. A stock cassette stereo is said to remain in working condition along with the A/C and all other electronics and gauges.
