This is a 1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais, utomatic transmission, ith a 2.5L engine.The vehiclehas 110,560 miles on it.The body is straight and solid, ith only minor scratches and paint fading, o be expected of a car this age. There is a small dent in the top edge of the trunk. The interior is in good condition, ith no rips or tears in the upholstery. The original cloth covering that covered the interior ceiling was removed due to aging and falling apart. The engine starts right up and runs great. However, here are leaks in the cooling system, ne from the heater core hose, nd the other one Ihave been unable to track down due to lack of time, ut appears to be coming either from the coolant reservoir, r the water pump. The cooling system problems would have to be addressed to get the car on the road, ut the engine, rivetrain, ndtransmission are all strong. The cylinder head was removed, agnafluxed, ut in new valve guides,and checked for flatness less than 10,000 miles ago. Also checked for ridge on the cylinder walls at the time, nd there was none.The radiator, hermostat and muffler were also just replaced. The only other issues with the vehicle, re the heater isn't putting out heat, nd the a/c isn't putting out cold. Also, he rear power windows work properly, ut the front driver and passenger power windows are not working.The vehicle has a clear California title, ith registration paid through July, 015. Last time it was smogged 2 years ago, t passed with no problem, nd check engine light is off. This could be a great, nexpensive vehicle for someone for around town, or someone who could take the time to fix the few problems it has.
