This is a low mileage gem. It's very clean. both inside and out. I get a lot of "Thumbs up!" when driving it around on weekends. I purchased this vehicle 18 months ago. from a small dealership that took it off an retired gentleman who had it garaged most of its life. as you can see by its condition in the photos. The reason I am letting it go is that I have just purchased a 20+ year old Cadillac as my new Sunday driver. Part of getting older is enjoying the nostalgia of driving the car(s) I only wished I could have back when they were new. Back to the Cutlass: She has 6 cyl. All parts are original (check out those hubcaps!) except as follows: the headliner recently replaced as the original sagged. The tires are new in 2013. The headlights were replaced just last month with high end halogen ones. I had new plugs and wires put in last year in a normal tune up. It's oil was most recently changed this autumn. The car was painted in May. 2013 with the original color - it looks awesome. no fading. The windows are roll-up. The locks are manual. (Do you remember when you knew your date was a good person when she'd lean over & unlock your side after you let her into the car?) The carpet is clean - no stains. The seats have no tears. It's a bench seat. with an armrest that comes down. Green on green. Starts & runs fine. I've had no problems with it. Negatives: Unfortunately. the antenna snapped off at the car wash last month. The stereo speakers in the back need to be replaced before you take this car to the drive-in. The dash does have a little sun cracking around the middle. but not major. The color of the passenger door armrest doesn't quite match - it was replaced prior to my owning the vehicle. The tuning button on the radio is missing the black plastic trim. You can see the rear fender "hips" which. in my opinion. is a classic body style. This is a driver - not a racetrack vehicle. The beauty is in the original condition. It has not been overhauled by professionals. and is a 36 year old vehicle with all that that entails. In theory. you could plunk a small block V-8 into her. install some high performance tranny. carburator. etc. etc. but that's up to you. I just hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
