1983 Olds Delta 88 Royale: 63K Original Miles: 4DR Sdn Gray Grandpa Car Garaged

62,729 ORIGINAL MILES 1983 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale 4 Door Sedan with notch windows. Charcoal gray metalflake body color. Silver gray vinyl roof. V8 307 (5.0 L) 4BBL engine, utomatic transmission, ower windows, ower steering, ilt wheel,[note: Cruise control does not work - see conditions below], ire hubcaps, riginal air conditioning. Non-smoker driven its entire life.

This car was owned by my grandfather, ho kept service records (included) and stored it in his suburban Missouri garage most days. As a vehicle of this age, bviously there are a couple issues, ut be aware that it was reconditioned to successfully be driven 800+ miles from Missouri to its current location...

The interior is in spectacular condition for its age. Gray velour seats, ery comfortable, teering column / dash are not cracked or faded, ash looks great. Documented replacement of headliner, uarter trim panels, nd sun-visors in 2003.

Note issues below regarding speedometer and dash clock.

New components: new radiator, ew alternator, ew Firestone whitewall tires.

Fluids and lubrication have been kept up.

Known age conditions:

Body:

* Driver side-view mirror is missing its adjustment mechanism - mirror itself is siliconed in place.

* Paint is overall good. There are 1 or 2 scuffs, nd about 4 locations back at the trunk where body was dinged from the inside, ith resultant tiny bits of surface rust.

* Plastic shroud at rear bumper is cracked and missing a piece behind driver side rear wheel.

* Retractable radio antenna is stuck in extended position (see below)

* Vinyl top overall good - plastic trim around back and rear sides very cracked/crazed.

Mechanical/Electrical:

* 1 circuit (dash clock, ig lighter, ntenna) drains battery - if you leave out that fuse, attery is fine.

* Cruise Control/Speedometer: speedometer cable that passes thru cruise control unit is sheared off at unit, o speedometer does not register and cruise control does not work. Cruise Control could be bypassed.

* Radiator overflow plastic reservoir has a slow leak at hose from radiator.

* Driver's seatbelt slightly frayed at buckle.

This would be a nice collector car if restored, r a very comfortable daily driver without doing much more to its current condition. Please feel free to ask any or all questions about the car prior to the end of the sale.
