Current owner has owned this car since 1978. This is a lovingly maintained driver. It has the original 455 engine and runs like a scalded cat.The top works beautifully. The interior is gorgeous and mostly original. It has power windows that were installed by the current engineer owner when he first purchased the car. This car was only driven on beautiful days with the owne, is wife, nd 2 dogs, nd, araged the rest of the time. The paint still looks good after being repainted it's original color over 35 years ago......but it starting to show signs of old age. There is no visible rust with the exception of 2 dime sized bubbles in the paint on the lower left exterior of the drivers door. This car was meticulously maintained and serviced when needed. It has a torsion bar suspension and heavy duty shocks so for a big car it handles very very well. It just had new mufflers and exhaust manifold gaskets installed last month. This car currently shows 60496 on the odometer but the Kentucky title shows 140000 from when my father in law moved from Kansas City 20 years ago. Apparently the MV girl thought that the car had to be 40000 miles in excess of it's mechanical limits when it actually did have 40000 miles on it at that time. It was not noticed until now. We also have the Kansas title prior to the Kentucky one showing a much lower mileage.I am the owners son in law who's assisting with the sale. After completion of the auction a deposit of $500 is due within 24 hours via paypal with the balance due via wire transfer. Instructions will be provided.Buyer to arrange for vehicle pickup at the buyers expense. A large amount of spare parts are included with the sale which includes extra lenses, ouldings, oor and window gaskets, nd, ther assorted goodies. Vehicle is currently being displayed locally and owner reserves the right to cancel the auction if he sells it privately.
