1960 Oldsmobile Dynamic Eighty Eight, good usable daily driver selling with No Reserve to the highest bidder.
This Oldsmobile has been a daily driver of ours for over a year. In that time it has had new brakes, ebuilt brake booster, ew carpet, ew tires and a full tune up. It is very reliable and drives very well. It will happily sit in traffic all day without getting hot and cruise at 80 mph.
The engine is in good condition, t runs well and is very quiet. The transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. It has a factory fitted POSI rear end. It stops nice and straight. There are no nasty noises or vibrations from the drivetrain or suspension.
The interior is in very good shape benefiting from a good quality re-trim before we bought it. The seats and headliner are excellent and the door panels are very good. It has been fitted with an 8 track radio cassette player at some point which does not look out of place and works well. The original steering wheel is in excellent condition. All the gauges work and light up when the headlamps are on. There is a crack in the dash pad.
The body is good and solid. There are no large dents or rust and most of the chrome trim is present and in good condition. It was painted black before we owned it, would guess at least 10 years ago. It looks good from a few feet away but once you are closer you can see that the paint has deteriorated in places and is not that good.
Overall a nice clean and presentable classic that can be driven everyday. This is a very large car and has a lot of presence also attracting much positive attention.
It has a Clear Title. And I would confidently drive it anywhere.
