Description for Oldsmobile Cutlass 1983
1983 Hurst / Olds 15th Anniversary Edition Car For Sale. Rogers Arkansas.
Automatic Trans with Hurst Lighting Rod Shifters.
Ok so here is what I know about this car.
Approximately 10 years ago, helped my nephew buy the car.
It was very nice original black paint and nice interior, ngine ran great. Shifted great. It was a Clean machine.
He did not take care of it so when it stopped running, t was parked in the yard.
In 2014, y step-father thought he wanted to restore it.
He had it repainted sort of a plumb black color and it was nice.
I helped my step-dad purchase the 4 piece ground effects kit on the internet.
Same guy rebuilt the motor that was in the car at the time. Not sure if it was original motor that came with car?
It ran awesome with a nice overhead cam lope.
New Tires.
It was time to restore the interior, ut the car quit running and that is when problems started.
My step-dad let an incompetent mechanic take a look at the engine problem and he broke the front ground effects spoiler while unloading it.
He also slightly messed up the rear bumper paint a bit.
It is my understanding, echanic could not get engine running so he put in an engine that he said had been recently rebuilt.
My step-dad came to garage and told mechanic to stop working on car and the car was delivered back to the yard again.
My step-dad covered the car up and now it needs a new owner to complete the job.
The paint on car does have some wear from being covered up with car cover and should probably be re-painted to be new again?
The other motor included also has carb included.. Intake is removed but also included.
The car is not currently running and will need to be transported.
When I took photos of car, t was dirty when I uncovered it and best I could do was wipe it down with wet towel and hose it off.
When I took photos, saw almost no rust issues on car anywhere.
My step-dad took a Big financial loss and is ready to sell the car for reasonably fair price.
This is a 15th Anniversary Edition Hurst / Olds that should be back out on the road and enjoyed.
Automatic Trans with Hurst Lighting Rod Shifters.
As-Is - No Warranty. Buyer will need to transport car from Rogers AR.. More photos available.
