Description for Oldsmobile Cutlass 1970

Regretfully. I am selling my LOADED. ALL ORIGINAL 1970 Cutlass Supreme Convertible. TRUE BARN survivor. For the right person. this restoration project could be effortlessly cloned to become an Olds 442 show car. This two-owner (I have the ORIGINAL title) running. driving and stopping car is waiting for its next driver. It can be driven as you restore it or put it up for the winter as a father/son project to get ready for the Springtime. I bought the car a few years ago and just two years ago stopped working on it. The V8-350. 4bbl car that runs well. but needs some carb work. I believe the true mileage to be 135K as shown on the speedo. The car has been frequently started until recently and had been tuned up (plugs. wires. caps. etc. ) along with replacing the belts and hoses and water pump. Has disc brakes and new pads were installed as well. The transmission shifts fine. has a posi-rear end and the exhaust is in good shape. Has bucket seats that are in good shape. with automatic console. Dashpad in great shape with factory A/C that is fully intact and the AM radio still works. I have the power trunk and power window set-up (switches. relays and three regulators) that need to be installed. Power top (with rear glass window) goes up and down with no problems. Comes with a convertible boot cover (which is in good shape). The trunk pan and floors appear to be solid (but I have not gotten underneath the car to confirm this or the condition of the frame). The doors close soundly and don’t sag. The fenders and quarters are as pictured and the bumpers are driver quality. Has SSI rims. Comes with owners manual. I think I have covered everything and have tried to be as clear as possible about its condition. This is a great foundation to work with. keeping in mind it is not new. it does need work. but it is not a hacked. patchworked car. I am selling the car because I am buying a home and could use this sale to have more of a down payment towards the purchase of the house (so I am not interested in any trades. sorry). PLEASE ASK ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS FIRST. BEFORE BIDDING as I am looking for a quick. hassle-free sale. Anyone with a rating of 10 or less. or that has a recent negative rating and/or has withdrawn a high bid may be cancelled without notice. (If you bid and then cancel. you will also be blocked from further bidding). Last. while I don't want to sell the car and don’t really NEED to. I would like to get close to buying a home. but still wont be giving it away. If you are looking seriously as this post and are not a tire kicker. then you know what this is worth and should feel free to make an offer. If the car does not sell. I will simply be parking it in the garage of whatever new home I end up buying and will drive and restore it at my leisure. I work in NYC and the car is in the Hartford. CT area (another reason I am selling as I no longer have the time to work on it). so it will be a big challenge to show the car prior to the end of the listing. Therefore. bid with an optimistic worse case scenario in mind. Good luck and happy bidding !!!
