Description for Oldsmobile Cutlass 1970

1970 cutlass supreme convertible project car. Numbers matching 310h.p. rocket 350. I found a partial build sheet on top of the gas tank. Rebuilt carb. New sending unit. New floor pans, wheelhousings, full trunk pan and quarters. Doors were replaced with solid oem ones. Car was a father son project and was being built to be a nice presentable driver, not a nut bolt restoration.(myself and my 16 year old son) I went to school for auto collision and have worked in a few body shops years back. For the last 18 years I have been a sheetmetal worker. I fabricate and weld frequently in my line of work. The car does still need some minor body work, small dings here and there and the hood has a couple small rust holes on the lower front. The guy I purchased the car from bought a new white top with glass rear window years back, it is still in the box and looks to be in good shape, it will need installed. Interior has new carpet, the rest is original and shows some wear but definitely not shot. Ash tray door is broke. All lights seem to function properly although there is a few bulbs burnt out. With a little work you could drive the car as is for the summer and paint it over the winter. It has been parked in a garage since the early 90's so In order to do that I would replace the points (they're 30 plus years old) give it a basic tune up. Give it a good once over and check out the rubber brake lines, wheel bearings etc just to make sure it's safe. Car will not leave until payment has cleared, I prefer cash on pick up, but if you are going to have it shipped I will need a bank check through a major bank like wells fargo. ;Sorry, no exception there is just to many scammers.
