Description for Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight 1960

Selling for my 86 year-old dad, who is curtailing his driving. He purchased the 1960 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 from the family of the original owner, who purchased it from Logan Oldsmobile in February 1960. Although, owner had passed away a number of year's ago, car was still parked in his same SE Portland garage since new. Family had the photos when he drove his new car home for the first time, parked in his garage, first dent in the driver's door and first weekend outing. Dad, also, took photos when car was removed from the owner's garage and when the tow truck brought it home.

He felt since the body and interior were in great shape the car should be mechanically sound, as well. He had the transmission resealed, the engine was completely re-manufactured including harden valve seats installed to be able to use modern fuel by Portland Engine Rebuilders, and has all receipts. Window channeling was replaced, all doors and trunk resealed with new weather stripping, seat belts added for 5 passengers and the master cylinder was rebuilt and lines flushed. Car has been driven about 2,000 miles since work was completed. It's a car you would be proud of, and really enjoy driving.
