A total of 629 were in the production run which consisted of hard tops. sunroof equipped. and convertibles. This Hurst has all matching numbers and underwent a complete restoration in mid 90's. Interior is original and like new. Undercarriage is spotless. The restoration was completed with only NOS parts. The lacquer paint is like new with all decals from the 1972 Indy 500. The only color available was Cameo White with reflective gold stripes. This Hurst Olds has the W-25 Ram Air Hood and gold SS III Rally Wheels with a chrome bolt-on center cap and chrome beauty ring. The original tires were Goodyear Polysteel Radials which are included with the sale. Additionally. the car has a set of Eagle GT's as daily driver tires on the gold honeycomb wheels. The standard Hurst/Olds engine was a 455 cubic-inch Rocket V8 rated at 270 net horsepower. This Hurst has 8 track player. air-conditioning. temperature gauge on side view mirror and a huge collection of memorabilia from 1972. It has the Turbo Hydra-Matic 400 transmission with console-mounted Hurst Dual-Gate shifter. Special Hurst/Olds Pace Car badges adorn the glove box door and all 1972 Hurst/Old' were identified with a W-45 Code on the cowl tag.
