Up for auction is a nice driver qualityOlds 88. I purchased this car from a neighbor who was moving a few months ago. His uncle bought the car new and when he passed in 2008 his nephew got the car. The miles are original and the car was rustproofed new so it is in great shape.
I refinished the car in PPG base/clear as the silver was faded.The interior is great, no cracks in the dash or steering wheel. The carpets and other trim including the headliner are very nice. It has had a tune-up and runs just fine. I have driven it locally about 40 miles but have no doubt you could drive it anywhere. The tires are about 50% tread and are in good condition but I don't know how old they are. The bumpers are in great shape. The left headlamp bezel has a small piece that is broken by the side marker light but not that noticeable.The vinyl top is in good shape but does have a few age spots when looking up close, nothing major and no rust underneath. All glass is good, lights work, air blows cold and once in a while the heater fan makes some noise but works fine and only when you first turn it on. There is some paper work with the car as you can see in the pictures. It is just a good honest driver car that should serve you well.
