Description for Oldsmobile Cutlass 1967
You are looking at a 1967 Olds Cutlass 4 door sedan with an LS swap. This car was a project car for myself and my son for him when he was ready to drive. The car has proven to be too much car (as in too big) and a little too much power for him at this time in his driving career.
As a result we are offering it for sale. It was meant to be a tribute car to the Impala driven by the Winchesters in the hit TV series, Supernatural.
I wanted a car that was reliable and would be easier and safer for him to drive. Thus I decided on a LS swap with 4 speed auto.
What the car was when we got it:
1967 Red Olds Cutlass, 330 2 brl V8; Powerglide, 2 speed automatic transmission, single exhaust, 4 door sedan, Georgia car, very little rust, power steering, factory A/C, no power 4 wheel drum brakes, AM radio (did not work) with black and white seat covers. Frame, floorboard and trunk all in good shape, no major rust issues.
What the car has now:
Engine and Transmission:
Engine and drivetrain (done locally at a professional shop for all installation of all major components):
2002 Chevrolet truck 5.3 L v8 motor, used with approximately 145K on it when we got it, about 150K now; complete with computer and OBDII port in the interior of the car.
2002 Chevrolet 4 speed, 4l60E trans, not sure on the mileage, but works great.
To install the engine and trans:
New Dirty dingo motor mount adapters with New 1967 Chevelle small block stock motor mounts.
New LS swap shorty camaro style stainless steel shorty headers.
New Custom brackets purchased for the accessories including the 2002 A/C compressor.
Stock Olds crossmember for the trans installation.
New Cadillac CTSV oil pan and oil pickup to increase clearance to the ground.
Custom made cold air intake to the throttle body.
GT 500 intercooler reservoir tank as coolant reservoir.
New Three row aluminum radiator. (car runs cool all the time).
Reman power steering pump.
New radiator hoses
New Frame mounted Walbro 255 GPH electric fuel pump
New OEM style gas tank with new straps and new strap insulators.
New tank sending unit.
New wiper motor
New battery
Suspension and brakes
1967 Chevelle power front disc brake upgrade, purchased new as a kit: rotors, calipers, spindles, backing plates, booster and master cylinder, pads, proportioning valve, etc.
Rear brakes are all new drum components: drum, shoes, springs, wheel cylinder, etc.
New Front tubular upper and lower control arms with polyurethane bushings; ball joints that came with the kit were replaced with new Moog ball joints for better quality and longer life.

New pitman arm
New idler arm
New center link
New inner and outer tie rod ends.
New shocks. (original springs)
Rear upper control arms are original
Rear lower control arms are new 442 control arms that will accept a rear sway bar (have not installed the sway bar and don't have one)

Reman Jeep Grand Cherokee steering box for a lower ratio steering.
Rear differential is original, 12 bolt, non posi rear with stock gears.
Exhaust
New Shorty stainless steel LS swap headers
New Flowmaster custom 3" exhaust piping with H pipe and exiting behind the rear tires.
New DynoMax 3" mufflers
Wheels and Tires
Purchased used, American Racing 15x7 front wheels and 15x8 rear wheels.
Tires: Front: brand new: 215x60x15
Rear: about 5K miles on them, 255x60x15, Cooper Cobras
Interior
Seats were recently (last year) recovered in custom color combination, vinyl of black with silver piping, front and back.
1969 Chevelle front bench seat with headrests
Rear seat is original Cutlass seat.

New turn signal bulbs front and rear
Custom made 442 style badges that say, " 5.3 2" instead of " 4 4 2"; one on each fender, one on the trunk lid and one on the grille.
What will it come with?
New rubber spacers that go between the body and the bumpers, front and rear.
New 24 gallon (stock is 20 gallon) fuel tank with in tank pump and venting.
Some of the chrome and other outside appearance stuff we didn't want to put back on the car.
All hardware, emblems and other stuff that originally came on the car that we kept.
What does it need?
Gas tank replaced as the fuel pump is taxing the relay so the car will come with a replacement fuel system. Also the OEM style tank, due to the venting and the electric pump system, allows gas to go out when the tank is full so the venting is an issue with it the way it is. It runs fine and no issues driving other than leaking out when full. Also, due to no baffling in the tank, when the gas level is low, can run out of fuel on sharp corners. This is why I have the new tank for the car that will come with the car that has the in tank fuel pump, vent and charcoal cannister. Fuel pump is the same flow as on the car now...Walbro 255 gph pump.
A/C system to be finished being hooked up
Interior door jamb windlace
Spare tire and jack
Alignment, although car runs straight.
A couple of small rust bubbles came up after the paint in the lower quarter.
Both bumpers need to be re-chromed and the rear has a dent that needs to be fixed that was on the car when purchased.
May be somethings I missed that we did, but not intentionally missed. If you have any questions, please ask. This car gets a lot of attention wherever it goes. Title is clear and you could drive this car most anywhere right now.
If the car needs to be shipped, that is the responsibility of the buyer to arrange and pay. Deposit of $500 which is non-refundable. Reserve the right to end the listing early if sold locally.
No warranty on this car is expressed or implied. This is a used vehicle.
