1970 Oldsmoile 442 Convertible Blue Exterior / Blue Interior / Blue Top (rare color combo)
455 engine & 400 transmission
Loaded with options

VIN 342670Z133046

Up for auction is my very original 1970 Olds 442 recreation. This car is believed to be a Cutlass SX that was converted to a 442. In 1970 the 442 had to come with a 455 engine and this one has it. Also has the turbo 400 transmission, dual trumpet exhaust with rear bumper cut-outs, factory "his and hers" Hurst shifter, 442 steering wheel, 442 front grille, 442 emblems - (front, side rear and glove box), center console and bucket seats. Other rare options include factory a/c (not working, belt missing), rear sway bar suspension, power top, road rally wheels and the rare "triple blue" color combination, which is seldom seen.

This car runs great and is fast. It shifts and handles nice too. The interior is in superb shape, as is the paint job. This is a rust free car from what I can tell. This car has a superb, top notch, high dollar paint with a lot of depth. See the reflections in the pictures. There are no dings, dents, chips or runs. All the body panel gaps are real nice. The doors open and close perfect, as does the hood and trunk. The front and rear chrome bumpers and front end trim are new or re-chromed. Door handles are like new. All the glass is nice as well. The convertible top is older and does have a tear, but does not leak thru it. This is a rare and desirable color combo. The car is a very unmolested car. I believe all the body panels to be original to the car. Nice to find one without the 442 side stripes. The new owner can add if desired. The mileage on the car reads 98,520 which I believe could be the original miles.

The car idles, runs and drives great. Drives straight down the freeway with no pulling or wandering. Engine idles smooth and steady (see the videos of the engine running in this auction). It has factory air conditioning, power steering, disc brakes and dual "trumpet" exhaust with flowmaster mufflers. The exhaust note is real nice - not too load but perfect muscle car rumble from the 455 engine. All the electricals work- horn, lights, blinkers, brake lights, interior lights, fuel gauge etc. The car also has a nice sound system with 6x9 speakers on the floor in the back but they can be placed on the seat - since the wire is long enough. The stereo has an aux jack so you can plug in your cel phone to play music. The car also has newer tires with the hard to find rally 'road wheels'. In the trunk is a full spare wheel/tire and original jacking equipment.

This car is in very nice driver condition, not a high dollar show car but will probably win some. Looks amazing - perfect for Sunday drives and local shows. It gets a ton of looks and thumbs up going down the road and I receive many compliments on this car. The 455 really makes this car sing and a lot of fun.

Please read my feedback, it speaks for itself. I have the car priced with a low reserve....you could not build the car for what I am asking.

Feel free to email me with any questions. This is a very rare car, very low production, especially in this color combination. There is no doubt that this car will appreciate in value over the next several years and is better than money sitting in your bank account, since you can enjoy the car while it appreciates (should appreciate faster than the interest from the loan for that matter). This is a great example of an Oldsmobile Cutlass / 442. It is seldom one finds a car like this and it is getting harder to find cars in this kind of condition for this price.....so bid early, don't miss out!

A lot of my auctions end early, so if you have a price in mind, please call me!

If you are serious about the car please bid. Do not bid if you cannot afford the car or do not have the funds available to follow thru with the transaction, if you need someone's permission to buy the car or are waiting on funds to pay for the car. If you have negative feedback from a previous Ebay Motors auction, please do not bid!
