Description for Oldsmobile F33 1933
Up for sale is an extremely rare 1933 Oldsmobile F33 4 door sedan. EASY FINISH. Frame off restoration was started by previous owner, unfortunately, passed away in the process. I purchased to complete but too many projects force sale. All work has been completed except for the interior/upholstery. Have the original interior that is included plus extra front and rear seats from another car. All chrome has been done and is very nice. Rear window is original, rest of glass is all brand new. New weatherstripping around glass as well. New rubber bumpers on doors. New wood bows on the roof ready for a new canvas top. Ready for new interior. Perfect car to finish if you are an upholsterer or simply looking to complete a super easy restoration and pick your own interior colors and material. Original wood in the car is all there and in nice condition.Engine is the original straight 6 cylinder and original 3 speed manual transmission. Engine has never been apart to rebuild the internals, only apart enough to clean, install new seals and gaskets and paint. Rare EC22 carburetor has been fully rebuilt along with the fuel pump and fuel lines, starter, generator, and clutch. Super rare original decarbonizer glass bowl and tin can are still on this beauty. Engine runs like a well oiled sewing machine. Does smoke a little when running. Transmission works like it should. Brakes are new but are what you would expect drum brakes from that era to be. Drives well for a big car. Still retains its 6 volts system and the battery and wiring is all new. RARE heater option on the car. New electric 6 volt wiper motor and wiper arm/blade.Frame off restoration on the body and chassis. Chassis has been cleaned and painted and is mostly original and rust free. Super clean rust free body was finished in a silver and dark charcoal which adds to the vintage look of the vehicle. Car was originally black from the factory. All of the sheet metal on this car is original along with the tail lights, headlights, badges, trim, and the super rare and extra nice grille and grille ornament. Optional fog lights are present and all glass lenses are very nice. Hood hinge is a new custom one off piece to hold the hood and allow the hood to fold as it should. Brand new Firestone 5.25/5.50 x 17" wide whites. 1933 is the first year for the steel artillery wheels. Hub caps are reproductions - no they don't make them, previous owner had them manufactured by a company just for this car - one offs.Only 17 documented 1933 Oldsmobiles, have paperwork as this being one. Most people have never seen one in person. 83,541 original miles.$500 non-refunable deposit due within 3 days. Balance due within 7 days unless other arrangements are made.
