Description for Oldsmobile Cutlass 1963

She loves the highway, and wont disappoint. I put ina new interior last winter, changed it from saddle to allblack. Dash, steering wheeland all metal trim was painted black over nickel. All new Firehawk tires. New steelie rims with hot rod trim rings and baby moons. The last owner put a coat of feuxtina white over the original bronze. I like it like it is, and wasn't about to paint it. Still a good base for someone that would want to. She has some small dents and scratches all around. The right rear fender behind the tire has about a 10" long area that needs attention. (see pictures). Engine is the Olds 215 aluminum block 195 HP. I put in a new Edelbrock 600 cfm carb, new Edelbrock intake manifold along with a new valley pan gasket. New auto meter gauges with an electric oil pressure gauge. Interior and trunk pan were both coated in POR15 Grey. The trunk was painted with Eastwood trunk pattern paint. Original AMradio works with a dual cone front speaker. Still can see the civil defense markings on the dial. She runs on 89 octane, even the original gas cap tells you to use premium. This is a 10:75 to 1 ratio engine! Not bad for factory.

Other stuff:

underbody solid, all ground wiresredone

Pertronix distributor

new battery and cables

new trunk seal

new glove box

new wires

tri bar mirror

top and top motor 2 years old

new fuel pump and line to engine

plugs and wires new

new wiper arms and blades

shop manual

front disc brakes

new boot cover

5 lug wheels all around

Dual turbo mufflers with turn outs before the rear end. Gives her a nice sound!

Fun to drive, handles great and a rare car. First thing I always hear is" where did you find that"?

She does need some window rubber seals, gas gauge is inop,NO reverse lights, spare tire or hardware, speedometer and cigarette lighter. The chrome is fair, and there is pitting around the right tail light and center rear trim. See pictures. There is also a small chip on the windshield on the drivers side. Doesn't hinder seeing out, no cracks anywhere else. Has factorygold tint across the top of glass. She leaks a little oil too.
