Description for Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight 1951

Offered here for bidding is this fabulous 1951 Oldsmobile Rocket 88 Sedan. The car runs and drives, but will need a tune-up and lube. It is all original with the original 303 Rocket V-8 and 2 speed Automatic Transmission. The odometer reads 77,548.9 miles, but I cannot verify that it has not turned over.
The body color may have been updated at some point in it's life and is in very good condition. No major rust problems and it has been stored inside for the past 10 years. The body, floors, trunk are in good condition.The door panels will need tobe restored, but are intact.
The car rolls on whitewalls and original hubcaps. Some of the rubber seals around door jambs, deck lid, etc will need to be replaced.
Capable of being used as a daily driver or a perfect candidate for a total restoration. Offered here with low opening bid and no reserve.
