We are trying to be fair to all buyers and we do not want non paying bidders bidding up cars that an honest person wants to buy, and being bid up by a person who is playing a game with our account and thousands of other accounts in this country. We want to be fair and square to all real potential bidders. Non paying buyers will be reported to eBay. We hope not to have any.Balance is to be paid by check, cash orwire transfer only. Please send us your name and phone number directly through eBay so we can work out the paperwork and delivery afterdeposit has been made. We charge $150 for paperwork and title transfer and 45 daytags are available for $25.

We sell all cars as-is, which means the buyer isresponsible for any and all repairs, according to the Ohio Buyer’s Guide (includes body, mechanical, frame and interior). We do our best to describe all vehicles as accurately as possible, but keep in mind that opinions may differ and that it’sthe buyer’s responsibility to inspect the car before bidding. We advise all bidders to get a third party to check out the vehicle if they can’t make it out themselves to ensure their complete satisfaction. This must be done before bidding. When you view the pictures of the vehicle, make sure you look at them on a large screen to ensure that you can see all attributes of the car.

If the car starts and runs onto the truck, but it does not start at arrival, that is the buyer’s responsibility (cars may be damaged on a long, bouncy trip). Once the car is paid for, all buyers should put insurance on the vehicle because they now own it. We will work with your shipper or you can call Mike, our shipper, for a rate at 781-763-7447 Ext. 208. We leave all buyers positive feedback. All sales are final. All deposits are non-refundable, so please make sure you know exactly what you're buying before you bid. Our shipper will get the car to you within 4 days to 2 weeks at a fair price. If you'd like to call him for a price, that would be fine.

All cars left on our lot after 30 days will be charged $18 a day and we hope we never have to collect a dime. But we don't have enough space to store everyone's car after they're paid for. It's the buyer's responsibility to pick up their car that they just purchased. Please remember we are on the buyer's side. Please only bid if you are a real bidder who wants to purchase the vehicle, and again, if you haven't purchased 3 items over the last 3 months we will remove your bid. If you're a zero bidder and you bid at the last second just before the auction ends, the vehicle will be offered to the bidder before you and you will not end up with the vehicle, so you need to call us.

Thank you for looking at our classic 1948 Oldsmobile Coupe 66 Model. This car has 54K actual miles and a clean title. Right on the title it reads actual. This is an unbelievable find. I bought it from a gentleman who got it from someone that got it from an estate. The car was maintained but sat for years and years. That's why the condition is so good and the miles are so low.

I purchased this car about 45 minutes past Pittsburg, PA and drove it home about a month ago. The car started and drove 100% without a problem. The most amazing part about this car is that it’s an automatic, it must have been one of the first automatics for Oldsmobile. Before I get to all the good things about the car, I'm going to tell you 2 issues with the car.

#1: The interior lights don't work. It's probably just a fuse, but I have not checked. Here again, as seen in all the pictures, all the outside lights work and the dome light works inside the car, so you're not that far away from having dash lights too. I'd also like to mention that the turn signals both work correctly.

#2: The other problem is that it has a small gas tank. The gas gauge does not work correctly with the tank. It shows you when you're out, but when it’s full it only reads a quarter of a tank. So I don't know if that's the way it’s supposed to be with a small tank or not, but I don't want to have any surprises to the new owner.

Since we had this car sitting in the garage for a month or so, we see no leaks, it does not smoke at all, and you pull the choke out and it starts up immediately just like it should. These original transmissions are different than the new cars. Reverse is park turned off. Neutral is where park is, and when you're in neutral the first one down to the right is drive. It also has a parking brake that you really don't have to use because it actually does have park. But if you're on a hill or worried about the car rolling, that's why it’s there, it's a good safety feature.

The radio goes on but it doesn't get a station. All you hear is static. The wipers work, the heat works, and the speedometer and all the gauges work. The temperature gauge was moved, as seen in the pictures, to the bottom of the car so it's more accurate than being on the dash like it was originally. The horn blows so loud the neighbors can hear it 5 doors down! All 4 tires are newer, the brakes have been checked and they are 100% fine. It steers straight down the road and it cruises 55 to 70 MPH without a problem, because that's how fast I drove it back when I brought it home. Remember that the brakes on the car are really good, but it does not have power steering

It drives easily down the road. If you have to turn going very slow, it’s just a little bit more difficult, because that’s the way all the cars were back in the day. I imagine if you greased it it could be a little easier but I just don't know. We're not sure if the paint job in the interior is original or not, but it sure looks original. Where are you gonna find an interior as nice as this one? (Unless it was just freshly redone, not an interior that we believe possibly and could be original to the car.)

The chrome on the car is beautiful and the paint looks excellent, being possibly 72 years old with very few touchups due to maybe a few nicks here and there over the years. As beautiful as it looks, and we believe it’s likely to be all original, if you would repaint it, it would look nicer than it does, but how much nicer can it look than it presently does? Unless you're trying to have a show car. We have 300 pictures in the Flickr at the bottom of the ad that shows just about every inch of the car, top to bottom, bumper to bumper. They're actually great pictures which are enjoyable to look at. If you can stop out and personally look at the car, we'd be glad you drive you around, as long as it’s not raining or snowing, we think you'd be impressed even more than the pictures. So if you're ready to win a beautiful Oldsmobile that's clean, very reliable, and super special, hit the buy it now.
