The Toronado was noted for its transaxle version of GM's Turbo-Hydramatic transmission, making it the first U.S.-produced front-wheel drive automobile since the demise of the Cord 810/812 in 1937.The 1966 Olds Toronado had the largest interior in its class. With the revolutionary new front-wheel drive, there is no transmission tunnel. It was astounding, without the traditional transmission hump there is more room than a Cadillac. With its completely flat floor it was like a rolling guest room.Powering this beautiful automobile is a 425cubic inch 385hp rocket motor .This 1966 Oldsmobile Tornado is offered to you in great shape for the year !!
