This is what i think about every time I'm in this car! This is the car that i owned when i met my wife that i have been married to her for over 25 years now and i must say some of the best memories I've had in our younger age were with this car. she and i both love this car dearly but its time to let her go. This 1972 cutlass was born in Arlington Texas and from there made its way up north to idaho sometime in the late 80s. GM produced this car with the vision of have a muscle car attitude but have the class of a cadillac and thats why it shares a lot of the same traits as its cousin the chevelle. From there the previous owner said he had it for sometime and used it for sunday drives with his dad who had a cutlass as well. He ran into hard times and needed the money and thats when i took it off his hands. I have had it for over three years now it has been an amazing car. My wife and i both love to drive and. mainly because its comfortable to drive and amazing power!!! The ol’ girl is powered by a 350 rocket engine that is equipped with a full set of headers followed by a full exhaust with cutouts. 4 barrel carburetor and electric ignition. behind the power plant is an automatic transmission equipped with a 3000RPM stall convertor. The car js an A/C and cruise equipped vehicle but both are currently not working. The engine and transmission both have 20. 00 miles since last overhauled. The interior is in amazing condition and is original except the front seats which were redone about 5 years ago but are still in amazing condition. There is a brand new Kenwood CD Deck with USB plug ins and two kicker 6X9 speakers in the rear that sound amazing! A 4” Sport comp tack with shift light is on the center console and also the interior features a GT steering wheel. (I have the original Steering wheel as well) All the interior lights work and operate as they should. The exterior has a flawless set of 15” weld racing wheels that are wrapped in 245/60s BF Goodrich radials in the front and 255/60s in the rear. The paint is in fair condition but is not perfect by any means. It does have some rust in the usual places. mainly the quarters. If you didn't look close the paint would pass and no one would notice. overall this car is an amazing car! You can cruise down the freeway at 70MPH no problem. comfortably in this car! I hope who ever wins this car will enjoy it as much as my family did! i hate to see her go but i am now facing hard times my self and need the money! although is not the exact car i had when i was younger its the same model and year and it take me back every time I'm in it! hope it does the same for others!
