You are looking at a show-stopping 1960 Ford Short Bus, 9 foot long from bumper to bumper. This short bus is an original San Diego, alifornia city school bus. Rare to find one like this...most were crushed & discarded for scrap. Bus is an original short bus...has not been cut, hopped or shortened. You will NOT see another one like this. After the bus was retired from the city school system, t was purchased by a church & used for church transportation. This bus has no rust & has been taken down to the bare metal in restoration. The bus has been painted a custom, ot rod black with custom graphics inside and out. Bus has gray carpet & headliner, lack with yellow trim seats, nd custom cabinets & drawers with black walnut countertops. Bus has an aluminum Billett Specialty flamed steering wheel. Bus has two fuel tanks (one 20 gallon & one 15 gallon). Bus has a 460 motor that has been totally gone through. Bus has a MSD Blaster ignition, olley 4 Barrel Carburator, luminum Radiator (temp runs around 185 even in hot southern temperatures), -6 Transmission that has been totally gone through, us has a gear vendor overdrive system in it allowing for better gas mileage and comfortable traveling speeds of 65-80 mph. New 3 inch exhaust into 3 inch Flowmaster with 4 tailpipes two on each side dumping in front of rear tires. Bus has a new, ustom drive line & a Dana 70 Rearend with 373 gears, ew herrings & seals. New brakes all around, ew springs, ew king pins, new tires. All lights, lashers, linkers, tc. are operational inside & out. Bus has a flat screen TV & DVD player, ront & rear power inverters, amp; is also wired with 110 to the rear bumper so it can be hooked up to a generator. Bus has a 6000 BTU air conditioner that is vented through the floor. Kenwood CD/Stereo system with 6 surround sound speakers (four 6x9 speakers & two subs).Bus & family (myself, ife & 2 young kids) has just returned from Hot Rod Magazine's Power Tour 2015 where we traveled 3495 miles...from Alabama to Wisconsin & back down south to Baton Rouge, ouisiana. Bus drew lots of attention at every stop, n the roads, nd at every show. Bus was a fan favorite and made Hot Rod Magazine's website, other' s Polish website, nd many more. Tons of pictures were taken on tour. You can get in this bus and drive any where you want to go. Reliable, mooth traveling machine. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time.
