Lovelyone family-owned 1950 Riley RMB (2-1/2-liter)acquired from Marley Motors of Warwick RI in 1952 with just 9K miles.Used as daily transportation by a Boston area family then placed in dry storage in 1956. In 1971, he vehicle was subject to a full mechanical rebuild including engine, uel system and brakes. Used sparingly until having a bare-metal respray, ew top and door panels, eadliner and carpets in 1975. Rod bearings replaced with shells in 1979. Driven regularly and always well maintained then stored in 2010.
Superb running engine with plenty of smooth long-stroke power. 40-year old paint shows well with customary nicks and a few areas of crazing. Just the right patina to the originalleather seats. Bluemels Brooklands steering wheel with custom hub. Rare mechanical tachometer. Club SS exhaust system. Supplementary electrical cooling fan, eat belts and turn signals. Excellent Avon Turbospeed 600x16 tires.
Numerous spares including new Pertronix electronic ignition conversion, air of new LeMans headlamps, rille shell,Butler pass lamp parts, ar cover.
