1957 Studebaker Transtar 1 Ton pick-up truck. 1 of 100 built with the options:9 ft box2 tone paint2 speed wipersDirectional signals2 speed heater4 barrel carburetor259 V8 After market hoist installed in 1958. We are the second owners of the truck purchased from an estate on the Canadian prairies. When found. the body had minimal rust and no dents but the mechanical state had deteriorated as well as the interior. The engine was completely overhauled and restored by a professional. and all mechanical parts were cleaned. checked and replaced (if necessary). The interior was also restored. This truck runs very well and is safety checked and licensed. The aftermarket hoist works great and could haul and dump anything you want. We had the box lined for protection.
