The vehicle still retains all of its original sheet metal. (Originally from New Mexico.) The body was chopped 3 inches. It was "Nosed" and "Decked". The "B" pillars  were slanted along with "Shaving" the door handles, uel door and stainless steel trim. The cowl vent and quarter seams were filled. The rear window is a '49 Ford that  has been flipped upside down. The lower body belt lines were removed and the upper door corners were rounded. The headlights are '49 Ford bezels that have been  "Frenched" into the body. The taillights are '59 Cadillac that are "Tunneled". The rear fender shirts are flush mounted and the stock Hudson grille was modified. The  chrome front bumper is from a '56 Dodge that was sectioned and shaved to fit the vehicle snuggly. The rear '52 Hudson bumper was inverted and welded to the body with  two exhaust cutouts. The rear floor and trunk section was removed and a custom floor with trans tunnel and "Tubbed" rear wheel sections were installed. A new Harwood  15 gallon fuel cell was mounted in the trunk.
The body and panels were properly prepped, rimed, locked sanded several times and then painted. The paint used was PPG and was a base coat clear coat type of paint.  The paint color is called "Torch Red" which is a very popular GM color. The paint is in great shape with no checking, hips, racks, range peel texture or scratches.  The doors, enders, ood and trunk were all carefully re-installed making sure all the panels were correctly aligned and have the proper gaps. Please take a moment to  view the photos looking down the sides on the vehicle. It is very straight without any waves, oor dings, ents or chips. New rubber weather stripping was also  installed after the paint job. A car cover is also included with the sale of the vehicle.   Chrome & Trim:
Most of the original trim was removed and shaved. There is a thin stainless steel trim moulding that runs on the very bottom on the body. The chrome grille and front  bumper are flawless. The front bumper is from a '56 Dodge that was sectioned and shaved. The chrome plating is top notch. The grille still retains the original style  "Hudson" emblem.   Interior:
The custom made interior is finished in gray vinyl. The seats are from a Ford Mustang. The original dash and instrument panel was modified and fitted with "AutoMeter"  Pro-Comp gauges. They are all working expect for the speedometer/odometer. (Not hooked up.) A Flaming River tilt column along with a Grant GT steering wheel are  installed. The remote doors are operated by "Bear Claw" power latch actuators. The remote hood and trunk release levers are located under the dash area. A full custom   roll bar was fabricate and fitted into the interior section. Gray carpeting was custom made to fit the newly redesigned interior. There is a cut out section of the  carpet under the driver's mat to gain access the brake master cylinder. The lights, orn and turn signals are all properly working. Glass:
All of the glass pieces are new and are tinted. All of the glass is in great condition. It is equipped with power windows in the doors. There are vent windows also,  but the driver's side currently doesn't open. The interior trim around the windshield is still not installed. It needs to be cut down to fit the 3" chop roof. Wheels & Tires:
The front wheels are 15" x 3.5" "Mickey Thompson" (MT). Mounted on these wheels are 26" x 7.50" x 15" MT tires. The rear wheels are 15" x 14" Weld performance wheels.  Mounted on these huge rims are 31" x 18.5" x 15" MT tires. All of the tires and rims are in excellent condition. Trunk:
The trunk section is finished with the same carpet as the interior. The 15 gallon fuel cell is mounted in the center. The battery in mounted behind the rear panel and  has a battery tender pig tail installed. Frame & Chassis:
The stock '52 Hudson frame was modified. It was straight and solid from New Mexico. The front suspension section was updated with a '76 Pontiac Ventura sub frame with  tubular A-arms and power steering. A Flaming River tilt column controls the steering. The rear frame section was boxed and moved inboard to accommodate the narrow rear  end and tubbed section. It has a 9" Ford 4.11:1 Detroit Locker rear end.
Nine times out of ten, eople selling a car would not talk about or take any photos of the underside. The undercarriage tells you a lot about the car, hat is why  there are a few pictures of the bottom in the photo gallery. Please view them all.       Engine Compartment:
Under the hood is just as clean and impressive as the body. Ready for any show. It is detailed and in excellent condition. See the "Mechanical" section for more  information on the engine. K&N air filter. Heavy duty radiator keeps this vehicle running cool all the time.   Mechanical:
