Regretfully. I am selling my 1989 Avanti II Coupe with only ~ 40. 00 original miles. A great looking and running car. nbsp;I bought this at Fall Carlisle show a few years ago. It is part of a larger collection (20+) and it does not get the use it deserves. Really quick. the combination of lightweight fiberglass (and Kevlar in the door frames I am told) body and Chevrolet V8 engine makes for a very enjoyable ride. Power windows. 6-way seats. cruise control. brakes. steering. tilt steering. optional moon and sun roof. optional ground effect. velour and leather interior. nbsp;Crimson poly paint - this car is loaded. Has original Sony stereo. Car cover included. If you are not familiar with the Series IV Avantis that were made by John Carfaro (see web links below). they represent the pinnacle of the original and groundbreaking Raymond Loewy design. and had the best of the fit and finish. The hand work that went into the (very thick bodywork). interior. and overall assembly is remarkable. This is a quality vehicle that is outstanding condition for a 25 year old car. Minor nits are listed in the box above - all easily addressed. I am only selling this to make garage space and because I only get to drive it now and then. I find the front. rear. and rear 3/4 views of the car to be really beautiful. and the Crimson paint looks different in different lights. with heavy metal flake. Car has no rust. never been hit. and has never been painted or changed in the interior. Engine bay is very clean.
