Here we have for auction a 1967 Checker Marathon Stationwagon. This rare car is actually a real live SLEEPER! From the factory it is powered by the king of Hot Rod engines, Chevrolet small block 350 V8! To complete it's factory Hot Rod credentials it has the Powerglide transmission and it's backed up by a bullet proof FORD 9" rear end! It even has a dashboard with a full compliment of Stewart Warner Gauges! All factory installed in 1967! What a Great Beach Rod this will make! To make it stop the factory used all large Ford Galaxey drum brakes. (All Rebuilt) The Texas (San Antonio) wagon has a very straight body with only minor rust. The car is complete, unning and driving. It needs only seat covers (Mexican Blankets) and some added pin stripping and art work and it's ready for the beach!
