This is a rare (only 14 documented in USA) 1960 DAF model 600 Deluxe USA version. This MicroCar Car was a "Barn Find" from 2 years ago and has been idle (no time to restore anymore) since finding it. Would like to see it go to a good home where it will be brought back to life. Original matching serial numbers. 2 cylinder Air Cooled DAF 600cc motor only has 18. 00 original miles. It featured the unique DAF VARIOMATIC / AUTOMATIC belt driven transmission (the original CVT patented by DAF in 1957). This is one of the first 1960 models to be imported to the USA by DAF but needs serious restoration due to salt corrosion from the Connecticut roads. I am only the second owner of this car & was sold by DeBern Motors in Hartford. CT. There is a strong club support for parts & technical information through the DAF Club of America. so no worries when you tackle this project.
