1985 TVR TASMIN 280i CONVERTIBLE! ORIGINAL OWNER! ORIGINAL FORD 2.8 V6

I am the original owner of this 1985 TVR 280i convertible. I purchased the car as new in 1987 from a TVR dealer in VT with 6000 miles on the odometer, nd drove the car to its current mileage of 59,978 (all of which were exciting and attention filled!! If you wish for an exciting & rare,sports car to drive that will leave you un noticed, his is not the car for you!). I parked the car in 1993 when the water pump starting leaking, ther financial matters set in, nd the car has sat since then. The car could use a minor restoration at this point as hoses, elts, ires show signs of cracking. The cylinders have been oiled, ut I have not tried starting the car or turning the engine over since it was parked. The convertible top needs replacing, nd some of the interiors leather needs re covering, s do the seats. The burled walnut interior trim should be replaced as well,(wood trim kits are often available here on eBay) Other mechanicals and electricalmay need to be sorted out as consistent with a car that has sat for many years. Tiresneed replacing. The body of the car is in very good condition, ut could use a paint job. The glass is in very good condition as well. The car has never been in an accident, or has it seen or been driven in salt. The exhaust was once replaced and customized with Super Trap rear mufflers. The mirrors were replaced with Vitaloni Testarossa mirrors, the right side is currently broken). The original TVR mirrors are included with the car(they are in very good to excellent condition as they were removed shortly after I purchased the car).I have included a picture of the original mirrors. The shift knob was replaced with a Momo shift knob, he original knob is included. The original radio is not installed, t will be included in the sale only if I can find which box I stored it in!The front spoiler is a factory 350i front spoiler with integrated fog lights.
