1969 Chevelle

This is built to be a fun driver that you can enjoy cruising everyday.

Started with a solid 69 coupe that was then stripped down to the body shell on frame and sandblasted. The body was then SPI epoxy coated. The car was really solid and the floors and trunk were great. There was some small rust in quarters, o the quarter panels were replaced instead of patched. The body was primed, locked and sprayed in BASF pure base black with three coats of BASF DC5335 high glamour clear, hen blocked sanded again and two more coats of clear. The result is deep cold pure black. the trunk was epoxy primed, prayed with gray/black spackle paint and clear coated. New vinyl top installed.The original trim, umpers, oor handles, mblems were sand blasted and powder coatedSATINblack, eally offsetting the gloss black.The interior was completely stripped when blasted so it was reassembled with new headliner, ew package tray, ew carpet, ew dash bezel, ew Dakota Digital VHX gauges in carbon fiber and red, ew Vintage Air GenIV ac system, &M mega shifter, ew Corbuea front seats with leather inserts added, he rear seat was recovered and refoamed in real leather to match the front seats, he door panels were wrapped in leather and the dash pad was wrapped in leather, ew chrome tilt column, ew grant leather steering wheel, ew weather strip, ew windshield, ew window fuzzies, tc.etc. the under side is sprayed with 3M Shuutz sound deadener and then painted satin black. The front suspension was assembled with new tubular control arms, ew big block Moog springs, ew two inch drop spindles, ew disc brakes, ew brake lines, ew shocks, eman jeep high ratio steering box. The rear has 4.10 gears with a locker and new disc brakes and BMR three inch drop springs, ew shock, ew HD 3" steel driveshaft, h400 rebuilt with shift kit and 10" 2800 stall converter. shifts smooth and crisp but sharp and hard under full throttle. New gas tank and sending unit was also installed. The engine is a nice pump gas 500hp 454.9.5:1 compression for easy driving. 69 427 CC cylinder heads with 2.19/1.88 valves, ld school polished torker intake, ew Quick Fuel 750 carb with electric choke, ew MSD HEI, rane hydraulic cam, ew belts, oses, ater pump, arter HP fuel pump, ew 00 battery cables, ew HD battery, tc. it starts great when cold or hot and is very easy to drive and will smoke the tires when you plant your foot in it. jet hotted 1.875 headers with 2 1/2 aluminized pipe and real WalkerSuper Turbo mufflers (no el'cheap $19.99mufflers), tssounds great without beingoverly loud.New aluminum radiator, ew cooler lines for trans, lectric cooling fan.I have not donea stereo of any kind yet, et me know what your interest may be. That leaves the last BIG thing in the visual department... the wheels.... these are FORGELINE RB3C's, 1540.00 each! 18" front and 20" rear powder coated satin bronze with BF Goodrich tires. They simply look stunning on the black car with satin accents. I have lots of pics and can send video.
