This Camaro does not have any race history, owever it IS a true Festival Car in that it did make the circuit in Indianapolis as part of the promotion of this historic Pace Car example.

Same owner for over 40 years.

Please note this example has had a **GM-only** meticulous full nut/bolt restoration. Specifically, u>ONLY GM N.O.S. parts were used to restore this car back in the 80's when the parts were still available over the counter from GM. In fact, he only non-original item on this vehicle is the Coker-brand redwall tires and this was a safety decision made early on. There are several indicators of the high restoration this car has received including clearly visible GM part numbers on many of the parts yet in the course of its restoration. I would hazard to guess that there is not a more carefully documented '67 Camaro Pace Car anywhere rivaling only the #1. Discerning details paid to restoration include the "C" of the Chevrolet Pace Car decal situated just above the pin-stripe just like the #1; Also, he stripe around the nose has also been applied to exactly match the #1 as part of a careful restoration. This is like a virtual time-machine in that it looks, mells and feels like a brand new car from 1967. Everything is tight, ccurate and in unbeleivable condition.

This car has resided mostly in dry TN in a climate-controlled environment and carefully maintained by the owner. This has received all proper credentialing and is a thoroughly documented car------------as much as a car from that vintage can be documented. Of some import is that this was among the owner favorites in this private collection that is currently for sale pursuant to health issues that does not permit the owner to properly care for this car. So the duty is on you!

EVERYTHING has been restored or otherwise new.

Given the fast rise in rare Camaro prices at auction for limited production models--------and in some cases resto-mod's in excess of $200k, he reserve for this example has been reasonably set in the spirit of a sale.
