Description for Other Makes TA14 1950

Offering my 1949 (oops. its a 1950 I realize as I review the paperwork) Alvis. named Alice by prior owner. Solid original RHD classic with lines similar to Jaguar MKV. Since my aquisition. I have only completed an oil change. replaced hoses and belts in an effort to make it a driver. I have not ever tagged it for road use and in fact it still has British Ownership papers but no US title. If this is required. please c I can obtain an Arkansas title at additional expenseontact me prior to bidding and I will find out what the state will require (insurance. taxes. etc) and let you know. Otherwise sold on bill of sale with british ownership papers. The lines of this car speak for itself. I am moving soon and need to clean out the shop. the boot (trunk) is full of spares including a complete new cloth covered wire harness. Most everything still works on the car with the exisitng wires to the best of my recollection. leather has nice patina. headliner needs replaced. orking sliding sunroof. windshield crakes open. Alvis spares still handled by the Red Triangle company in GB. car includes new metal sills (rocker panels) the ones on car are plastic. Doors open and close solidly wod body framing seems solid. bodywork is overal good with a couple small dents and very small rusty spots here and there. Would make a fantastic hot rod but shame to do it. I will work with overseas buyer on this car but payment will be by wire transfer only and you will pay your own haulers. agents etc. I will not fund anyone for you. I can take more pictures given some time. The TA14 Alvis was the first model Alvis produced after WWII. it is mostly based on pre war designs so it has that classic look. Please ask any questions prior to bidding. Also see my other listings for the 67 Jaguar parked next to this one!comes with a box of info and documentation including the original ownership log book form from England with the ownership history from 1950 to 1968. A copy of the modern V5 ownership document that would have been surrended when the document of permanent export (also included ) as issued. I have a bill of sale from that registered owner but I have not registerd or titled the car in Arkansas. check with your local state. I can register in Arkansas fairly easily and will do so for the winning bidder at their expense.
