Here's a 1943 International Military 4X4 Truck. Made for the US nav, and then sold on the surplus market after the war. Local Orange county farmer Henry Ponteprino bought it after the war for his Avocado farm. It is a barn find in the best sense of the word, residing in the same farmhouse barn since 1945! . International built these tough 4x4 Trucks for the US navy. This one is remarkably original, right down to the 2 bucket seats. . Visualize this truck with no cab and an empty bed, and that's how it was delivered. There is a large tank with compressor mounted on the bed now, used for some sort of farming application. The plywood cab was made by Henry Ponteprino for use on his farm.
