This is one of the nicest Tiger's I have ever seen and driven. We purchased this car for the former owner years ago after an exensive search. He wanted a Tiger that was not only beautiful. but fully sorted and driveable. A car that was more refined and actually driveable compared to the orignal cars which were very rough around the edges. After contacting club members and talking with Tiger specialists around the country. this car was recommended. A shop in the Mid Atlantic region that specialized in Tigers had restored this car for a client in the late 1990's. While not stock. it was an orginal Tiger that had been built from the ground up to be a well sorted and driveable car that you could be proud of at any show. It was fitted with a period 289 V8 and correct gearbox. the suspension had been tweak and sorted to help keep the car planted and give better handling. and larger Panasport wheels had been fitted with performance tires. It had both a factory hardtop as well as the soft top and was in very nice condition. having been well kept and only occasionally driven since its restoration. Unfortunately after a few years. the new owner passed away. and we now find ourselves with the car again looking for a new home. The car is still in exceptional condition. and is ready to be driven and enjoyed by a new enthusiast. We have just had the car serviced and the carb. rebuilt to make sure it is spot on.
