1938 Chevrolet truck

Description for Chevrolet Other Pickups 1938

Truck is a frame off restoration done by a private individual. Frame to the new spindles to a motor not really broken in yet. Obviously not a museum piece but a very solid truck with some body character. Has a new radiator, brakes redone, converted to 12 v but I have the original generator if anyone wants to convert it back to original 6 v.Vehicle was redone about 8 years ago and then sat but everything was drained until recently. Very solid truck that needs a few things. I am still working on the Carter W1 carb to get it consistently running proper. A couple of the gauges still need wiring but are there. Has a new radiator but I think it has a pinhole leak. Needs a hood ornament.Just a short way from being one hell of a truck. Everything on the truck is either new or redone, just needs a couple finishing touches. All metal except the rear fenders. Will try to assist in shipping and can hold indefinitely(within reason) til pickup.
