Description for Other Makes 1979
This listing is for a US Military Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV), a ground drone. It served as a Recon Adaptive Patrol Tactical Robotic System (RAPTR)The unit was made by AFRL Robotics and Called the DefenderThis unit was made some time around 2007 or 2008.
This vehicle was unmanned so there is no title and there never was a title.
Additionally, this unit has no serial number or vin number.
I have two of these available, and both were purchased directly from the US Government, this listing is for one of the unit, the other unit is available in a separate listing.
This is the listing for the first unit.
This is a very rare opportunity to purchase an authentic piece of military drone technology, and as far as I have researched, I have the only 2 that have ever been listed for sale publicly.
The unit's demensions are
6 foot wide,12 feet long,5.5 feet tall
I do not know the weight of this particular unit.
It comes with 2 control boxes and it comes as shown in the last 11 pictures, the first picture is one that was still in active service. It does not come as shown in the first photo.
It has all 6 original tires.
This unit was initially designed to have cameras and defense systems like what is shown in the first photo. However, the military stripped this unit of the cameras, guns, and the internal computer.
I have not run electronic tests on this unit and I am selling it in the same condition that I received it from the US military. It does not have the CPU, but I think it is possible that if all of the batteries are replaced, one of the control units can be used to start the engine.
This unit was never serialized and is likely a prototype unit made by AFRL robotics.
The engine is a Kubota Diesel Model: V2003-T-EU4

It has been kept indoors since it was acquired from the government and it is located inside of a warehouse with forklifts, it could be loaded onto a flatbed trailer or picked up by a tilt hauler.
These are legal for sale and export since the critical military technology has been removed.
I can provide more pictures of the units upon request, I have more photos of the units than I was able to put on the listing.
The units can be viewed upon appointment, please message me if you want to see the units.
