Description for Other Makes Morgan 4/4 1961
1961Morgan 4/4 Series II Roadster 2 Seater 3137 original miles! In storage since 1963. Original and unrestored. Everything appears original from the tires. upholstery. convertible top. boot. woodwork. etc. Frame is in excellent condition. The wood is also in excellent. unrestored condition with no signs of dry rot. The interior. convertible top. and side curtains are original. The only thing that appears to be missing is the wood that covers the battery and rear end (please see picture). Other than that. I can’t find anything else that has been replaced. One owner. Last registered in 1963. Comes with original documentation when it was purchased new from Fergus Imported Cars (New York. NY) in 1961. Includes sales receipt. owners manual. shop manual. sales brochures. and correspondence letters. The Fergus emblem is attached to the rear. and the Fergus stock number badge is affixed under the hood. Other than a small dent in the driver side hood. the car is dent free. No signs of body work. The paint is peeling on the hood and on the left front fender (see pictures). Chrome is in excellent condition. The original owner had the car painted a different shade of red shortly after purchase. Included are the correspondence letters where he inquired about the original paint and the receipt for the Carnation Red paint sample from Fergus. Engine turns free and is not stuck. Ignition switch does not turn for unknown reasons. Options include heater. turn signals. and front running light. Includes original tools: jack with “King Dick” screw driver and lug wrench. All numbers match. The engine number matches number on original sales receipt. Body number matches original sales receipt and title. The numbers on the right and left rear wood inner fenders are also matching. Clean title. Odometer reads: 3137 From our research and inspection and from the information we have received. the mileage on the odometer is believed to be accurate and original. Sold as is. Please see pictures.
