Up for bid from my collection is a Rare 1929 Packard 645 factory Dual Cowl Phaeton with a custom design by Raymond Dietrich. There are only a hand full in the world on the 645 chassis and this is one of the very best. This Packard has a complete body off ground up nut & bolt high end restoration from bumper to bumper with nothing overlooked. All the mechanical's were done and this is a correct numbers matching Packard just the way it left the factory. The restoration was performed about twelve years ago and I recently went over the entire car last year front to back and spent around $ 12,000.00 just in all the mechanical areas such as carburetor rebuilding, ll the lighting and brakes were gone through again including cleaning the gas lines and basically just a high end maintenance front to back to assure once again that this car is tour ready if need be. All the work was performed by York Restoration and the receipts along with a photo documentation of the original restoration will go with the car. As you can see by the detailed pictures here on Ebay this is a fresh car and not a tired used up restoration and will compete in any high end show or event. The pain, eather chrome etc. are beautiful as is the fit all around the car. Everything is in top working order with the exception of the gas gauge that acts up at times.
The Custom factory Dietrich body has the data plate on the cowl and the riveted factory Dietrich bronze numbered plate on the inside floor as well. The car has its original factory tools, ack, ack extension, nd the factory hose that you can connect to the small compressor under the floor to pump the tires with air. The car is equipped with all the Packed accessory's you want on a car like this that includes,
Signed side mount Packard Mirrors
Side Mount Covers
Packard Oaks Locks
Windwings
Sliding Boy, Original)
Packard Stone Guard
Pilot Ray Driving lights that turn with the car
Stainless spokes on all wheels
Complete set of side curtains, never used) including matching boot and trunk cover.
Original leather trunk to put on the luggage rack again with matching cover.
The top with its original beveled rear glass is in great shape and all trimmed out to match the curtains, oot and trunk cover. This is a very fine example that is show or tour ready and will make a fine addition in any great collection. If you had to restore a car like this to this level you would exceed 250 thousand dollars today. I am selling this car at a fair market price far less than any dealer would ask. Best of luck to all.

Please Note;  I would accept a part trade toward my Packard if you have something nice.

I accept all checks, oney orders and credit cards including Pay-Pal, ersonal checks must clear my bank before I can let the car go. A deposit from the winning bidder of $ 1000.00 will hold the car till you can come and see or have the car picked up and if this car is not as described in this add I will refund your deposit back to you in full 100% No Questions Asked.
