Description for Packard One Fifteen 1937
This is a solid, traight, ust-free, otal matching numbersHPOF preservation Packard. KnownHistory from new. Original 52K-miles, riginal paint and interior. Excellent paperwork package, riginal keys & fob. This1937 115 Touring Sedanwas in dry, riendly-climate storage from 1961 until I purchased it 10 years ago from its second owner. Never offered for sale publicly since 1937.It has always been well-cared-for. Never stored outside. Never wrecked. Never abused. It's one of those rare, onest, sefulPre-War Erablue-chip auto investments that your entire family can enjoy today.
Whether gliding silently through your neighborhood on a fall afternoon or touring on the open road, his roomy Packard Sedanruns and drives great. It has been meticulously serviced, ully sorted and is ready to drive anywhere or to show (or both). We've toured it extensively (even to Canada) with never a moment's trouble. It tracks nice & straight and is very agile. It has excellent brakes. Its fresh 6-volt battery immediately fires the engine, hich holds excellent oil pressure & runs nice and cool. Excellent original honeycomb core radiator and excellent original wiring harness (thanks todecades ofproper storage).
Fly in and drive it home with confidence.
This Packard is likely one of the very best-driving and fastest 115 Sedans in existence; it has a very strong engine, butter-smooth transmission and Diamond Back Radial tires. With its high-speed rear axle it's as fast as a 120 and it’s a delight to drive athighway speeds.
The original Regatta Blue paint ispatinated with many blemishes, ut it's quite compelling as evidenced by thecrowds of enthusiasts it draws (who walk past "restored" cars to examine this one). As illustrated by recent values of preservation cars, riginal paint is a rare and highly-prized feature on a 30's Packard. The original chrome andstainless are also presentable. The panel alignment and door & trunk shut is as new and the top insert is of the correct original Colonial Grain material. The original Riviera Tan Pinstripe interior is quite nice, lush and comfortable.
Awell-accessorized Packard,it features its original factory Packard Deluxe Heater / Defroster, eLuxe wheel trim rings, DeLuxe Goddess hood ornament, ender skirts, arpeted package tray and a dash clock. Additionally, ’ve added a6v Alternator (for nice bright lights and long battery life -- original generatorincludedof course), master battery shut-off switch and a driver-controlledauxiliaryelect fuel pump for easy start-up from storage
