Description for Packard 160 1940
I am selling a 1940 Packard 160 Super 8.I just purchased the car from a friend whose father passed away. Thecar is in good shape other than the paint coming off the driver's side fenders as you can see in the pictures. There is no rustanywhere except forthenormal surface rust. The interioris in pretty good shape other than the tearin the front seat and the dash paint pealing off. The door panels andheadliner are ingood shape. It is a runningand driving car. It has been switched to 12 volt andhas an electric fuel pump. All I did to the car was flushed and cleaned the tank then fixed a small pinhole that it had. The only piece missing on the car is the glass from the hood emblem, ut other than that every piece inside and out is all there. If you have any questions at all just send me an email and I will answer anything I can. If youare close and/or want to come and look at the carI am available, o just ask.The car is being sold as-is where is andIreserve the rightto endthe auction early as it isfor sale locally. There is a $1,000.00 deposit due within 24 hours of auction end. I will only accept cash in person, ashiers check or wire transfer. If the payment is made with a cashiers check or wire transfer, the car will not be released until payment has cleared withmy bank. The buyer is responsible for shipping and for all taxes.
