1971 Plymouth GTX, umbers Matching, roadcast Sheet, outhern U.S. Car, Fender Tags.

I am offering for sale, y 1971 GTX. I purchased this car from its second owner in Jacksonville FL in March 2010. He purchased it from the original owner who was a lady school teacher from Coleman FL in October 1973. Apparently, er boyfriend invited her on a date to attend the Daytona 500 on February 14, 971. She was so impressed with the race winner, ichard Petty #43, he went to her local Chrysler dealership and purchased this 71 GTX that was displayed in the showroom.

The second owner was also a Richard Petty fan so after purchasing the car, e had the GTX painted Petty Blue and Ziebart’d. After several years he decided to repaint it the original High Impact GY3 Curious Yellow. This car won numerous awards at car shows throughout Florida including a Year One 1st Prize Trophy at Daytona Motor Speedway in 1994. This GTX was the second owners baby until 2010.

Since 2010, his highly optioned head turner has been part of my personal GTX collection. In 2013, he following new parts were installed –- complete Mopar rocker arm assemblies- horn relay- engine mounts- engine belts- high torque starter- voltage regulator- electronic ignition module- spark plugs and wires- upper ball joints- 2.5in TTI exhaust system, EM exhaust tips- AC expansion valve and dryer- 2 Good Year Eagle GTII tires- 4 new brushed aluminum trim rings

This car is rust free and reportedly has all the original sheet metal. The Curious Yellow paint has been touched-up were chips have occurred over the years. The black interior is original and is in good condition. The tachometer is not accurate and the AC needs charged. The rear window defogger blower included but not installed.
