Fire Bronze Metallic Big Block Sport Satellite. This freshly restored 1969 Plymouth needs absolutely nothing. This rare Sport Satellite has just completed a 1 1/2 year restoration using the best mix of restored, OS and new parts available. This car has ZERO rust and is better than the day it was manufactured.
Starting with the 383 equipped with a Holly 4V carb, he engine was rebuilt using a factory spec camshaft and upgraded with hardened exhaust valve seats. Factory original radiator was recored and the original part number top and bottom tanks were reused. Engine is backed with a 727 automatic, loor shifted and freshly rebuilt. New U-joints on an original driveshaft spin the original 8 3/4 3.23 rear gear. Duel exhaust with turndowns, ust as the build sheet calls.
Exterior has a basecoat/clear coat T5 Fire Bronze Metallic paint, hich was blocked and buffed. New exterior components consist of Legendary vinyl top, indshield, MD front and rear bumpers, ail light bezels, ide view mirror and door handles, OS hood emblems and deck emblems. Exterior restored items include all stainless and special Sport Satellite grill, ame style which is shared by the GTX. Restored original road wheels with NOS center caps, ew lug nuts (with original LH lugs) and 1969 only beauty rings. Tires are NORS Firestone G78 X 14.
Interior is the correct Saddle Tan (P6T), hich was restored with new Legendary Interior seat upholstery, arpet, eadliner, ackage tray, ront and rear door panels and arm rests with bezels. Additional new interior items include window cranks, nside door handles, oor and quarter glass seals (catwhiskers), oor weatherstrip and door bumpers. Restored console features new console shift plate, id and rear trim piece. Interior also features new seat belts. Restored dash with rebuilt thumbwheel AM radio. All lights and gages work as they should.
Braking system consists of new master cylinder, ard lines, lex hoses, heel cylinders and brake shoes. Original drums feature original brake cooling springs.
Suspension has original control arms, orsion bars and steering box. New components include upper and lower ball joints, pper and lower control arm bushings, nner and outer tie rod ends and adjusting sleeves.
A new fuel tank lies underneath a new AMD one piece floor pan with new AMD quarter panel drop offs. Trunk features original spare wheel with bias ply spare tire with original jack. This car also received a new AMD one piece floor pan, ll professionally installed with top quality weld thru primer, oint sealer and undercoated original style completely for years of corrosion free worry.
This car is as good as it gets. Ready to run, rive and show. Better than the day it was made.
Car was purchased from the original family in South Boston, A. Father purchased the car in October 1968 and it was passed to the son in 1974. Stayed in the family until the current restoration was started. Original owners manual, ender tag and build sheet.
Honestly, his is a unique car. Uncommon paint and drive line for a Sport Satellite, long with GTX style features, ncluding the grill and trunk finish panel, akes this a step above the Road Runners, nd a small step from a GTX.
We have an original trunk finish panel to include with the car, ut not installed. The reproduction trunk finish panel to match the tail light bezels has been ordered, nd is presently on back order and will be about a month in arriving. Direct cost of this piece is $750.00. Winning bidder is purchasing the car with the unrestored finish panel and has the option to purchase the new finish panel from us or directly from the vendor.
