The ’69 Road Runner was car of the year by Motor Trend Magazine. The one we are offering is a true Road Runner but is an A 12 Recreation with the six pack 440 4 Speed and Dana 60 Rear End. They did a nice job on building this recreation right down to the light off glass hood. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior. interior. and driveline of the Plymouth. but first we would like to tell you a little about us. Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned. operated. and own our entire inventory. no consignments. and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So. that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. When you look down the sides of its arrow straight with good gaps and fit of the panels. New bumpers as well as other new chrome was added at the time of the resto. All the stainless looks good as well as the glass. Also. at the time of the resto they installed new weather stripping and seals. The A 12 Cars all had glass hoods with the 6 Pack scoop and were done in black. This one is no different and it accents the Scorch Red Paint perfectly. The paint on this car looks very good with a deep rich shine that’s slick to the touch. It has all the Road Runner Decals and Emblems. The final exterior touch of this Road Runner is the set of BFG Tires mounted on a set of magnum 500 Wheels. Next. we will take a look at the interior of the ’69. Everything on the inside is done in black that provides the perfect complement to the exterior scheme. It has the correct bucket seats and console with the correct 4 Speed Shifter. The door panels and console have the wood grain inlay. The seat covers. carpet. and headliner is all new. When you look at the dash it has the factory in dash tach. radio. and gauges. This car retains the factory seat belts and has the working dome light. Finally. we will take a look at the driveline of the Plymouth. Under the hood it’s powered by a 440 V8 with the six pack intake and Holley Carbs. The engine is painted correct with the 6 Pack Breather. It retains the stock manifolds with dual exhaust with Flow Masters. It has the 4 speed trans and the Dana 60 Rear End with Posi traction. This Road Runner has disc brakes and Power Steering. When you look under this car its nice with good solid floors and frame. We are selling this car to be an A12 recreation. IT IS A TRUE Road Runner.
