Description for Plymouth Streetrod Sedan 1935

If you're not a Mopar fan, ou're really missing out on some cool cars. This very sleek 1935 Plymouth 2-door sedan is a very stylish product of the Art-Deco 1930s and offers plenty of interior room, punchy V8 powerplant, nd cool suede paint that's as contemporary as it is traditional. There probably won't be many of these at the shows you go to, ut you have to wonder why, ecause this is one great-looking car. The sleek, ounded bodywork is all OEM steel save for the running boards, nd the clean shape is only enhanced by the satin black paint. Fit and finish are exceptionally good for a car that was ostensibly staying in primer, ith great gaps, tight-fitting hood, nd doors that close with confidence. And while a lot of the trim was blacked out to match the body, he most interesting parts remain, ncluding the delicate framework on the grille, he famous Plymouth schooner hood ornament, s well as the cool side vents on the hood that totally make the car's look. There are also neat custom treads on the running boards that add just the right amount of contrast and the rear end has been skillfully reshaped to eliminate the rear bumper and give it a very sleek look. The build on this rod is very impressive. The satin finish makes you think of intentionally crude and unfinished rods, ut the gorgeous tan leather interior in this Plymouth is anything but crude and unfinished. The beautifully upholstered bucket seats are from a late-model and matching door panels were created to match, ll in plush tan leather. It was all finished less than six months ago, o it's quite fresh and in as-new condition throughout, ncluding the dark brown carpets and taut headliner. A full set of custom Dolphin gauges neatly replicates what was here when it was new and lends a very 1930s look indeed. A touch-screen entertainment system has been cleanly built into the center of the dash, ight above the controls for the A/C system. The tilt column and beautiful leather-wrapped wheel give it a very modern feel without losing the vintage look. In back you'll find plenty of room for two passengers, ho get a fold-down center armrest. Work like this doesn't come cheap, o you can forget what you think you know about rat rods. The engine is a 350 cubic inch GM crate motor that's dressed in lots of chrome and billet aluminum, rom the finned scoop and valve covers to the block-hugging accessory drive. It's a very strong runner thanks to an Edelbrock Air Gap intake, atching 4-barrel carburetor, SD ignition, nd block-hugger headers. It makes around 300 horsepower, hich is plenty to make this car a lot of fun to drive, specially with a 700R4 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission behind it. The front suspension is a Fatman Fabrications independent setup with tubular A-arms, ack-and-pinion steering, nd disc brakes, hile a Ford 8-inch rear with highway gears inside hangs on standard leaf springs. The exhaust is a full custom setup with Flowmaster mufflers and polished tips and the stance is just about perfect. Torque Thrust wheels glitter against the satin black paint and are fitted with staggered Uniroyal radials that really stuff the fat fenders. This is a very expensive build that's only a few months old and with less than 1100 miles on the clock, nd we have to say we're more than impressed by this Plymouth. Make a move to the Mopar camp and you'll find out why these cars are so beloved. Call today!
