Description for Plymouth Duster 1970

Here for sale is a very attractive 1970 Plymouth Duster with a 340 engine. This car started life as a 6 cylinder. I purchased it from a retired police officer who replaced the complete drive train, verything is either rebuilt or replaced. I was told the engine is a 1972 340 with the X heads, as a very nice cam, orquer intake with an Elderbroch carb. Everything in the engine compartment is new, hat includes all accessories including headers, ew exhaust with Flow Masters, ebuilt transmission, ebuilt rearend with a 370 gear ratio, ll new brakes in the rear, or the front there are new backing plates, earings, otors, alipers, ines (hard and soft, ront to back). The car runs and drives great.

The car was painted 11 years ago when it was built and hasn't been driven a hundred miles, lways garaged kept, ewvinyl top,new wheels and tires.

I restore cars for a living, do a lot of high end vehicles, his car is a very nice driver, t is not a show car but looks as good as it doesin the photos.

The dash needs a little detailing as do the door jams, othing serious just something that would take a little time.The trunk is in very solid condition, ooks like somebody did it in POR13, o weak spots. The underside of the car is in beautiful condition with the exception of a patch behind the passenger seat, othing major. It also has frame connectors. I will take detailed photos of the undercarraige and add themto the photobucket link below asI feel that upon viewing them itwill give anyone bidding a high level of confidence in bidding on this Duster. Ialso want tomention, he front end is completelyrebuilt along with all new shocks, ewradiator, ondensor and vintageA/C and brand new power brake system with Mopar Performancevalve covers and air cleaner.There is an imperfection in the front centerbumper along with a little chrome pealing, here are also a few imperfections in the paint that I have shown in the photos.

As I mentioned beforethere has been a lot of money spent on this Duster in replacement parts. It also has after market guages, he temp, mp andoilpressure guages are hooked up andwork. The speedo and fuel guages are not hooked up as the speedo cable needs an adapterfor the transmission and the tank probably needs to come down to hook up the fuel guage. These are minor details that I do not have time to fool withand arequick fixes.

I purchased a new fronthoodscoop and rear spoiler and a complete stripe kit and blacked out the 340 designacross the top of the quarters, oors, enders and hood. ThisDusteris eye appealling and attractsa lot of attention.

I have set the reserve far below the cost of building this car.
