I have owned this car since 1985.Over the years it's gone from a daily driver to a reliable high performance muscle car built with the best available components all matched to work together, you can drive this car to the strip, cruise or the shopping mall. I built this car so I could use it without worrying about drivability or overheating in LA traffic.
ENGINE. 440 block, bored and stroked to 496 ci and assembled by Mike Landy. billet oil pump, forged crank, H beam rods, Ross pistons, Comp cams solid roller camshaft, Smith bros pushrods, T&D rockers. Edelbrock Victor Max wedge ported heads, and intake with a 1050 cfm Holley Dominator on top all dynoed. 600hp to the wheelsMSD ignition and wires, TTI headers, 3 1/2 inch exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers, Mezier electric water pump, with a Ron Davis racing aluminium radiator with twin electric spal fans to keep it cool.I have run 10.30 in the quarter.
TRANS. 727 built by Pro Trans with B&M shifter, Billet steel drum in trans, narrowed Dana 60 with 4.10 Detroit locker 35 spline moser Axles
WHEELS and BRAKES. Weld wheels with 12 wide in the rear. Mickey Thompson ET streets, Areo space discs all round.
SUSPENSION.stock K Member Torsion bar front and custom leaf spring rear with cal tracs and shocks
Beautiful Black paint, fiberglass hood and front fenders, tinted windows.
The black interior has Recaro front seats, I managed to tub the rear and keep the rear seats for the kids, custom roll cage with 4 point harness.
