Description for Plymouth GTX 1970
This is a complete professionally done body off rotisserie rebuild. Body work is impeccable. Frame stiffeners professionally added for extra torque. This was a 318 Satellite and has been beautifully cloned into a 426 Hemi, stroked to 472 in. GTX tribute. The engine was professionally done by Ray Barton Racing with all new parts including block and aluminum heads and Ray Barton designed valvetrain. Dashboard was sent out for total reconditioning. It has a high performance comp cam hydraulic cam for ease of maintanence and in line edelbrock carbs for old school look. Dyno tested and run in at Ray Barton with 598 HP. Has ATI torque flite transmission, specially brazed torque converter with 3400 stall. B and M ratchet floor shifter. 5 inch aluminum drive shaft and brand new Strange Engineering Dana rear 3.73. A Frames up front are tubular and along with disc brakes up front. Large Drums in rear. Steel wheels with dog dish. Underside of car painted with car same color as rest of car. Has electric cut outs from 3 inch TTI stainless headers I have a 6 inch binder of receipts.Car is air conditioned with aftermarket system. AM radio in car, but not hooked up. Couple strips of moulding missing interior around rear window. Small scratch around radio antenna right top fender. Has hood scoop parts all in place but not hooked up to be operational, never got around to it. Never raced, only drived about 100 mi. a year, kept in climate controlled garage and car was completed 2013.Have to say this is a perfect Ray Barton engine, no leaks, never overheats, revs like a small block.Too many extras to mention, will send copies of records if needed.
