Description for Plymouth GTX 1969

This is a Real RS GTX built along the lines of the Super Stock days and when Sox & Martin Terrorized all with their GTX...Mopars in the back ground are coming up for sale real soon, we have 11 of them right now...This is not a restored car, nor is it being sold as an original restoration. This is nothing but pure Mopar Muscle and will give you some serious fun on the cruises and car shows. Chevy & Ford and Tuner owners are barking up the wrong tree with this one. NO Nitrous or computer programing this is the way it used to be pure muscle...over 500 + HP
What we have is a 69 RS GTX with the matching # HP 69 440 and 727 Transmission. Now the engine is a bit scary if you have a weak heart. GTX Runs the quarter at mid 11's on street tires. And this car will push you through the seat on acceleration and keep you pinned there though all 3 gears...
This is now a 505 Cu. In. beast using the Scat Stroker Kit. Comp Cams Thumper with a 507 Lift. Edelbrock Aluminum Heads and intake manifold. Super Comp Headman Headers. Breathes it's air through a Holley 770 CFM Street Avenger Carb. Low hours on the motor and it does not leak or smoke, well maintained with Royal Purple Synthetic Oil and Mopar Oil Filters. Spark comes from MSD System . The 6 AL Box, Wires and Coil are Brand New. New Cables, Gell Battery, BECOOL Aluminum 4 Row Radiator, Electric Dual Cooling Fans
Exhaust is a 3" Stainless Steel with Electronic Exhaust Cut Outs running through Flow Master Mufflers.Drive Train is a fresh Rebuilt 727 with a B&M Hole Shot 3000 RPM Stall Converter and a B&M Shift Kit that feeds a Dana 60 Rear end with 4.11 gear ration and Moser Axles.
GTX has new brake, new Firestone Tires. Headlights, Brake Lights, signals all work.
Interior at the time of this posting I am waiting on New Legendary Door panels and arm rests, they are a few weeks out but they come with the car. Headliner is new, Front and Rear Windsheild gaskets are new, door weatherstrips and roof rail weather strips are new. I am also waiting on the side marker lights that go with this also.I do have the original rear bumper for this and the brackets, I think it looks pretty good without the rear bumper.
Paint is a excellent older job that was baked on and has one heck of a shine to it, and it does have a few blemishes but for what this is I would not touch it.Floors and Firewall are good, steering is a Quick Ratio Gear Box with a Flaming River Tilt Steering Column. Seats are good condition and the rear has a few small separations up top where the sun dried the threads and they cracked loose but not torn.Car is heater and radio delete and I have some of the original parts to go with this if you want to convert it back....
Turn key on, engage the master ignition switch, fuel pump, turn the key and Bang! GO have some fun.Sorry no trades and I know what this car is worth so if it does not bring what I am asking I will simply just will keep it and do a few changes and post it later .
