Description for Plymouth GTX 1968
This is a super rare 1 of 375 1968 Plymouth GTX 4 speed convertible. This is the best non-hemi B-Body you can get - 440 HP, factory red exterior, white interior, numbers matching engine and transmission, giant Dana 60 rear end, 150 MPH. This GTX was even a magazine feature car from Mopar Collectors Guide in the May 2015 issue.
The car was restored in 2003 and repainted at that time. It still looks as good now as it did then and has zero rust. The entire history of the car is known with all the previous owners and will be provided to the new owner. As mentioned it is all numbers matching with the original fender tag verifying all the options.
The car is very stock. The only deviations are things everyone would agree are pluses. The stripe was originally black and was changed to white, same with the top. The woodgrain wheel was added (the original three spoke wheel comes with the car) and the original AM radio has been converted to an AM/FM with an iphone jack. Rear speakers were also added along with a dual speaker in the place of the original dash speaker.
The engine runs great and we would trust this car to go anywhere, but obviously keep in mind this is a classic vehicle and anything can happen at any time. Engine is stock except an Edelbrock carb with an electric choke. The owner regularly takes it to car shows and has made a road trip up to Canada in the last year. We have provided a bunch of underside photos as well as all the numbers. Have access to a lift so if anybody wants more photos please just ask. The car resides in Kirkland, Washington (about 30 minutes east of Seattle, Wa) and if anybody wants to make a personal inspection they are welcome to come and look.
Every effort has been made to make an accurate description of this car, but some things were probably missed. Feel free to ask more questions or call the owner.
We accept Money Orders, Cashier's Check, or Wire Transfer. A $500.00 nonrefundable deposit must be made within 48 hours of the auction ending.
